At WGE Group we recognise the importance in the assisting young school leavers decide the path to an Apprenticeship or University. We offer work experience exposure to high school students between the years of 10 and 12 to help them realise their passion for our industry.

Work experience will offer a unique presepctive into our industry as candidates will be exposed to the various aspects of the WGE Group Operation from office based support and management to field support and operations.

Work experience candidates have the option to be exposed to Business Management, Mechanical or Civil applications whilst spending their time with WGE Group, many work experience candidates have obtained apprenticeships with WGE Group as a result of their work experience with us.

The WGE Group is committed to providing a work experience program for young school leavers designed to:

• Contribute to the development of the skills of young people;
• Ease the transition of students into the workplace; and
• Demonstrate the wide variety of interesting careers
• Available within Manufacturing and Construction.

Please Note: The WGE Group Work Experience Program offers unpaid work experience for students residing in Australia only.

• Various Onsite Construction Trades
• Machine Operators
• Occupational Health & Safety and Environmental
• Engineering - Mechanical and Civil
